Religious texts are not sufficient evidence of religious claims

We have to believe a lot of things in everyday life without evidence. But to apply the same standards to religion in carelessness can be a dangerous habit. When we just accept that religious claims are true because they have been said in a religious book, we make the same careless mistake.
